LAST PHOTOS FROM THE PIER AUGUST 5, 2003: This set of photos was taken from the fishing pier at the Portsmouth campus of T.C.C. I actually went out on the pier to get a better view of the storm as it was approaching from the west. This was a fairly photogenic storm and would be the last of the season. Little did I know that in just a little over a month from this night this fishing pier would be wiped out by Hurricane Isabel. There are no plans to rebuild the pier either. There were several nice nights standing on this pier watching the storms in the distance. I need to find another great place like this one to shoot from now. Camera and film: Nikon N65 and Fuji Provia slide film 100 ISO.
