VIRGINIA BEACH HIGH VOLTAGE May 7, 2002: Bill Coyle had already been atop a hotel parking lot in Virginia Beach when I arrived. With no time to spare, I hopped out of my truck grabbing my camera and tripod and putting up right where I was standing. I opened the shutter and right away, bam, there was this huge bolt off to the north. I was unsure if I had opened the shutter in time. Well, I did. The storm moved in over top of us and the wind started blowing equipment around and the rain right in on us. I put the still camera away and just shot some video. What photos I did get though were pretty impressive. Camera and film: Minolta x370s and Fuji Sensia slide film 100 ISO.
